Employment

Mechanical Engineers joining CTI hold at least a bachelors degree and  generally have at least two years experience.  The position requires working closely with clients, engineers and managers in the design and fabrication of custom mechanical, and electro-mechanical devices.  All CTI's engineers perform hands-on work.  C.A.D. experience and U.S. citizenship is required.

Systems Engineers joining CTI hold at least a bachelors degree and generally have at least two years experience.  The position requires working closely with clients, engineers and managers in the program management and design of custom mechanical and electro-mechanical devices.  All CTI's engineers perform hands-on work.  U.S. citizenship is required.

Electrical Engineers joining CTI hold at least a bachelors degree and are generally experienced in both digital and analog circuit design.  The position requires bringing electro-mechanical devices from concept through design, development, assembly and test.  CTI's engineers have direct client contact.  C.A.D. experience and U.S. citizenship is required. 

Software/Computer Engineers joining CTI hold at least a bachelors degree and are generally experienced in imbedded systems. U.S. citizenship is required.

Scientists coming to CTI possess advanced degrees in Electronics and Physics.  The position requires working with scientists conducting research and development in the areas of pulsed power and plasma physics. 

Cabinet / Model Makers coming to CTI fabricate items in CTI's model / woodshop.  The position requires they be versatile in prototype and small run fabrication practices.  Experience in advanced woodworking, resin fabrication, and finishing is a plus.  U.S. citizenship is required. 

Machinists joining CTI have at least five years of experience.  The position requires they be versatile in all machine shop practices.  Machinist must be experienced in CNC programming and the setup of lathes and mills.  U.S. citizenship is required. 

Assemblers at CTI perform both electrical and mechanical assembly.  The position requires working closely with engineers in the assembly and test of custom electro-mechanical devices. The work is hands-on.  U.S. citizenship is required.
